What is a chemical peel?

Post-Peel Expectations

The result is exfoliation after a treatment, often seen in the form of peeling or flaking that lasts a couple days.  Everyone peels differently and the amount of peeling you experience doesn’t determine how effective your treatment is.  Chemical peels are recommended once a month, paralleling the skin’s natural 28-day cell turnover process for the best results.  There is little to no downtime and leave your skin with a healthy glow rather than red in the face, allowing for treatments that won’t disrupt your schedule.
